The conversation starts with Eric giving a little bit of background on what he does. When he was younger, he wanted to be a marine, a chef, a Detroit cop, and a truck driver. He shared how he managed to achieve three out of the four professions he initially wanted.
Next, he talked about his experience living in Japan. Since he rode the train often, he started listening to audiobooks about real estate and investing. He then shared how he came to know more about real estate when his sister joined the industry.
When his sister left the industry, he decided to give it a shot. From learning the marketing strategies to other in-depth information needed in real estate, he was more equipped than he thought when he started. A few years later, his wife also joined the industry where they formed a husband and wife team.
Brad and Taylor ask Eric if there are any changes he made in his business during the lockdown. He talked about the virtual meetings and showings they had to adapt to. He also shared his struggle to build deeper connections with his clients as almost every transaction was done online.
Next, Eric shared his goals for the future and a piece of advice that stuck with him throughout the years. He was told that the person who speaks the most usually knows the least. He then talked about his worst property showing experience and what the experience entailed.
